While the world is striving to attain perfection, I realize the only perfect One took my place, as a perfect sacrifice, on a cross. Through Him my weaknesses are made strong. I'm not afraid to be different, because I AM different. I'm a child of The Most High. I can be imperfect because I am loved by a Perfect God.

To All People, Everywhere!

My heart is aching.  Families are being torn apart.  Friends have become bitter enemies.  Political stance determines how civil people are to each other.

Is this really what it is coming to?

All for what? Religion??

I still support companies that have opposing view points than me.  I use products made by companies who contribute to political candidates that I don't agree with. You may or may not have a problem with all of that.

But, let me address the bigger issue.

As a person who believes that the Bible is the infallible word of God, let me remind you.... Jesus was not at all pleased with the "religious folk" of His day.

In fact, in Matthew 23:13-15, He says, "I've had it with you! You're hopeless, you religion scholars, you Pharisees! Frauds! Your lives are roadblocks to God's kingdom. You refuse to enter, and won't let anyone else in either. You're hopeless, you religion scholars and Pharisees! Frauds! You go halfway around the world to make a convert, but once you get him you make him into a replica of yourselves, double-damned." (The Message Translation)

Stop. Take it in. Read it again.

Refuse to enter God's Kingdom, and keeping other people out also??? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of being a "Christian"?!

Maybe it's time for a long, critical examination of ourselves.  I don't want to cause someone to miss out on what they need!

I hope Christians are equally or greater burdened for commandments in the bible, than supporting, in masses, a company who didn't give in to society's views.

Would "christians" designate a particular day for everyone to help the poor and the widowed?
Would "christians" show up by the masses to volunteer at a soup kitchen.  Would they spend an hour and a half talking to a homeless person who needs a friend?

John 13 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

l....................o...................v.................e..................

Yeah, that really says, If you don't have love for others, then people don't even know you follow Christ.

Can I just linger here a minute?

Mark 12:31 says The second GREATEST commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself.

I feel to clarify, to love someone does not mean to agree with them all the time. Rick Warren said,
"Our culture has accepted two huge lies: The first is that if you disagree with someone’s lifestyle, you must fear them or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don’t have to compromise convictions to be compassionate.”

1 Corinithians 13 4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

I think that is the greatest definition of love. Nowhere in there does it say to agree, but it endures through every circumstance!

To people who claim to be Christians: Don't judge people who sin differently from you.

That's God's job, and certainly not your responsibility to help him.

1 John 4:8
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Since God is love, and we claim to be christians AKA Christ-like we should be demonstrating the same love towards others that He shows to us.

others means: Rich, Poor, Every Nationality, Every Language, Every Skin Color, Every sexual orientation, Every personality, every political persuasion, every religion, every past, every criminal....etc. There Are No Exceptions!!!

To love someone is to Leave Our Vain Existence

You may not agree with me. You may not look like me.  You may not believe the same way I do. But, you are a person, the same as me. You deserve love, the same as me.
With that, I say:

I love you! Te quiero! Je t'aime! أحبك! Jeg elsker dig! Ik hou van je! Mahal kita! Ich liebe dich! אני אוהב אותך! Is breá liom tú! Ti amo! Seni seviyorum! నేను నిన్ను ప్రేమిస్తున్నాను!
